GOATS would like to introduce our newest board member, Larry Cornelius. Larry is stepping into a recently vacated board position.

Larry, his wife Melody, and their two sons Andrew and Evan moved to Westfir in 2014. Larry is currently employed by Lane Community College in the landscaping department and has over 20 years of landscaping experience. He is also employed part time by the City of Westfir. Larry has already been a regular volunteer at trail work parties, often bringing his son Andrew with him. He has also been attending the monthly GOATS meetings. This is one busy guy!  When asked about his reason for volunteering Larry responded that his family enjoyed hiking and biking the local trails and the camaraderie of good company, so what better group to join than GOATS? He stated that the positive attitudes, integrity of work and diversity of members makes him eager to be involved in the care and restoration of our beloved trail system. GOATS would like to say thank you, Larry, for your kind words, positive attitude and generous giving of your time to help make our trail system better for all trail users.
